Bill Curtis Shuck, age 81, of Louisville, KY returned to his Heavenly Father on Tuesday, August 16th, 2022. He was born in Jefferson County, KY on February 16, 1941, to the late William A. Shuck and Lorine Brinkley Shuck. Bill was retired as the owner of Louisville Fire Brick Works, Inc. He was a member of the Highview Baptist Church, Robinson Masonic Lodge # 266 F&AM, Scottish Rite, Kosair Shrine Temple, Friendship Court #22, Order of the Amaranth. He was the past Grand Royal Patron of Kentucky and Supreme Royal Patron of the Order of Amaranth, Inc., White Shrine of Jerusalem, charter member of Lambda Chi Alpha at WKU and Eagle Scout troop 41. He was preceded in death by a sister, Sandra Shuck Miller and his stepmother, Ruth Shuck. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of 56 years, Yvonne McGowan Shuck; his children, Kelley Parks (Greg), Greg Shuck (Amy) and Julie Boswell; grandchildren, Hannah, Lane Curtis, Grayson, and Sophie Belle; great grandchild, Kinsley Grace; nephews, Daniel English (Courtney) and Jonathan English (Sarah); stepbrothers, Larry Platt (Sandy) and William Platt (Ruthie); stepsister, Rhonda Beard (Clayton), Shari Bruce; brother-in-law, Dennis McGowan; sister-in-law, Dena McGowan and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral service will be conducted at 10 AM on Saturday, August 20, 2022, in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Highway at Brooks Road) with burial to follow in Hebron Cemetery. Friends and loved ones may pay their respects on Friday, August 19, 2022, from 3 pm until 8 pm with an Order of the Amaranth service to be held at 6 PM. Visitation will also be held on Saturday from 9 am until time of service at the funeral home.
