Peacefully on Wednesday, December 8th, 2021, Deborah Lauren Herridge-Walters went home to be with the Lord. After a few months of illness, Deborah passed at 11:30 a.m. at the St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital. Born on October 4, 1959 in Hudson, Quebec, Deborah was pre-deceased by her sister Carolyn Nareski (nee Herridge), her husband Kenneth Walters, her mother Phyliss Herridge (nee Mallette), and her cousin Lois Mallette. Deborah has two nieces in Michigan, Michelle Peiffer and Jennifer White, and a cousin Brian Herridge in Montreal. Deborah had some special friends that were a source of kinship in the past few years, Bobby in North Carolina, Doug in Montreal, Verna, Suzie, Paula and Lisa in St. Thomas. Deborah lived in St. Thomas and London area for many years. Deborah's wishes were to be cremated and interned with Ken at Forest Lawn Funeral Cemetery and Crematorium in London, Ontario. Cremation occurred on December 11, 2021.
Deborah studied theology and worked as a paramedic early in her life. She also worked at Walmart for several years. Together, Deborah and Ken were building superintendents. Deborah loved animals, especially her dachshunds: Cricket, Madison and ******. She also had several cats throughout her lifetime.
