Jeremy Thomas Dansby

May 31, 1980 - August 12, 2021

 

Jeremy was born May 31, 1980, in Ft Worth, Texas. His parents, Dick and Karen Dansby, moved to Abilene, Texas, where Jeremy spent his childhood and teenage years. He moved to the Austin area in 2001 where he met and married Janette Hernandez.

He was employed by the Texas Department of Public Safety for the past 16 years. Jeremy loved many people, but none more than his daughter, Emma, and wife, Janette. He is survived by his wife and daughter, his mother and father, and his brother, John and partner Kate. Also, his father and mother in law, Adolph and Betty Hernandez; his brothers in law, Eric Hernandez and wife Ashleigh; Adolph Hernandez, Jr., and his wife Amy; and Maverick Hernandez and his wife Gabby. There are also numerous uncles, aunts, and cousins, many nieces and nephews, and extended family that he also loved deeply.

Jeremy loved family vacations and being in nature, enjoying God’s creation. He was passionate about learning and was an avid reader. He loved telling stories and used it as a creative outlet much to the enjoyment of those who knew him. His friends and family all cherished him, and he knew that he was loved by them. He will be missed.

 

A memorial service for Jeremy will be held Friday, August 20, 2021, at 2:00 PM at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home, 1200 S. Bagdad Road, Leander, Texas.
