Lincoln Goodwin Shaw Jr. of Defuniak Springs, FL passed away peacefully at the HCA Florida West Hospital in Pensacola, Florida June 4th after a brief illness. He was the son of Lincoln Goodwin Shaw Sr. and Edna Paula (Schadt) Shaw. He was born on August 29, 1945 in Miami, FL and grew up in Auburn, MA. Lincoln is survived by his son Andrew Shaw of Wake Forest, NC, his brother Frank Shaw of Branford, CT and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends on Cape Cod and elsewhere. He graduated from Worcester Academy in 1963 where he competed on the golf, hockey and wrestling teams. He attended UMass Amherst where he joined the Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity and earned his degree in Chemistry in 1968. "Linc" was a Corvette fan (he owned three of them in his lifetime). He loved NASCAR, the Red Sox and the Bruins. He also enjoyed gardening, Dunkin' coffee and was an avid six-handicap lefty golfer. A family memorial service is planned for the fall on Cape Cod.
