Obituary

From The New York Times on February 6, 2022:

ROSS--Marvin, died peacefully in his New York apartment on January 31, surviving Roberta Ross, his wife of 65 years, by one month. He was the father of Sabrina Fiddelman (Jeffrey) and Seth Ross (Susan), grandfather of Jacob, Rachel and Daniel Fiddelman and Julia and Adam Ross. A native New Yorker, he was a proud graduate of Stuyvesant High School and the City College of New York and earned both a JD and an LLM in Taxation from New York University. Marvin was a practicing attorney for over 60 years, most recently as of counsel to Jaspan Schlesinger LLP in Garden City, New York. He was an active volunteer who held a variety of leadership positions in the Five Towns, an accomplished woodworker and potter, a fiercely competitive tennis player, and in his later years a volunteer mentor and advisor to many at SCORE NYC. Gifts in his memory may be made to the City College of New York.
