He was the father of Sabrina Fiddelman (Jeffrey) and Seth Ross (Susan), grandfather of Jacob, Rachel and Daniel Fiddelman and Julia and Adam Ross. A native New Yorker, he was a proud graduate of Stuyvesant High School and the City College of New York and earned both a JD and an LLM in Taxation from New York University. Marvin was a practicing attorney for over 60 years, most recently as of counsel to Jaspan Schlesinger LLP in Garden City, New York. He was an active volunteer who held a variety of leadership positions in the Five Towns, an accomplished woodworker and potter, a fiercely competitive tennis player, and in his later years a volunteer mentor and advisor to many at SCORE NYC. Gifts in his memory may be made to the City College of New York.
