Obituary

Paul E. Doering, 79, of Lavendar Lane, Zieglerville; formerly of Pottstown, husband of Mary Ann (Istenes) Doering, passed away on Sunday April 10, 2022 at Manatawny Manor, Pottstown. Born in Lansdowne, PA, he was a son of the late Edward Doering and the late Edna (Werrlein) Doering. He was a graduate of John Bartrum High School, Southwest Philadelphia, and Drexel University. Paul was an Engineering Manager for the former Stanley G. Flaggs Co., Stowe for twenty years, and also worked for Burndy Corp., Bethel, CT for fifteen years. Surviving besides his wife are two sons, Ryan M. Doering and his wife Melissa, Suwanee, GA, Todd E. Doering and his wife Jeanine, Collegeville; a brother, David Doering and his wife Sue, Vienna, WV; six grandchildren, Brenna, Luke, Zachary, Mari Caitlin, Sarah, Juliana, and one great grandchild, Merit. A memorial service will be held 11:00 A.M. on Thursday May 12, 2022 at the Schumacher & Benner Funeral Home & Crematory, 359 King St., Pottstown. Burial will be private.
