Mrs. Queen Esther Martinez was born in Dardanelle Arkansas on June 4, 1949 to Eddie B. Smith and Charlene Smith. Queen attended Public Schools in Grand Rapids Michigan.
Queen moved to Grand Rapids, Michigan at a young age with her parents. Queen earned her associates degree in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Queen relocated to Orlando Florida where she professed a hope in Christ eventually becoming an ordained minister in the SDA Church. Queen earned her Bachelor’s degree, and Directors Credential for Day Care Centers. Queen later relocated to Jonesboro Georgia, where she earned her Master’s Degree.
Queen alongside her husband founded Martinez Life Help Ministries, and outreach ministry feeding the homeless population, and others in need. Queen was passionate about her faith, ministry, family, and posting inspirational as well as funny content on social media.
Queen was the faithful and loving wife of 34 years to Anthony Martinez. Queen and Anthony blended two families together resulting in six sons, and one daughter. She was a faithful daughter, loyal sister, and loving mother. Furthermore, she was an amazing aunt, friend, and cousin to many.
Mrs. Queen Esther Martinez departed this life on Monday, May 11 2020 at the age of 70 years. Queen was preceded in death by daughter Erica Ann Lester-Meyers, and Tony Martinez Jr.
