Randy was born on October 7, 1972, in Washington DC to Mary Rogers and Randolph Rogers. He had 2 children, a daughter Jahzmein Rogers and a son Randy Rogers.
Randy had a passion for writing. One of the greatest poets ever. With the ability to make his words come to life. He had a wonderful supportive poetry family that he loved so much.
He was brilliant, loving and just an extraordinary person. He was an amazing lyricist. A wordsmith, a story teller, pure talent. He had a laugh that was infectious. You couldn’t help but smile in his presence.
Randy is survived by his mother Mary Rogers, his 2 children Randy Rogers and Jahzmein Rogers, his sister Nikki Rogers-Lloyd, his brothers, Chris Deloatch and Jackie Herndon, the love of his life Regena Brooks and his 2nd Family Zanetta Butler, Tee Butler, Travis Butler and Heaven Butler and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.
