Stewart Finkler, 90, of St. Joseph passed away on Monday, Nov. 21, 2022, at his home.
A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 29, at St. Bernard Catholic Church, 555 E. Delaware, Benton Harbor, MI 49022 with Father James Adams officiating. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery in Benton Harbor. Friends may visit with the family from 10-11 a.m. on Tuesday, at the church.

Stewart was born on Nov. 26, 1931, in Syracuse, N.Y., to Norbert and Lois (Roth) Finkler.
He was graduated from The Manlius School and then attended the University of Pennsylvania where he received his bachelor's degree in accounting.
On Aug. 10, 1957, he married Marian Neu in Philadelphia.
Stewart worked in public accounting for a number of years and then for various manufacturers including Zenith Data Systems. He enjoyed singing in the church choir and fishing.
Stewart is survived by his wife, Marian Finkler; children: Elizabeth (Daniel) Hanasaki, Christina (Joseph) Conroy, Carolyn Finkler, Margaret Dikel, Michael (Dantra) Finkler, Alexa (Michael) Barr and Edward Finkler; nine grandchildren; and a sister Anne Padget.
Stewart was preceded in death by his parents; sons: James Finkler and Brian Finkler; and son-in-law, David Dikel.
