Timothy Robert King, age 61, of Keller, TX, died suddenly of natural causes May 28, 2022, on a flight bound for the Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport. Youngest son of the late Betty G. (McKim) and Keith R. King, of Lenexa, KS, Tim was born in Green Bay, WI. At age eight, he moved with his family to Lenexa. He leaves, among those who loved Tim: his cherished children Julia King and Joshua King, and their mother Kathy Ladd King, of Grapevine, TX; twin brother Jim (Sandy) King, of Lenexa; older siblings: John (Karen) King, of Germany; Diana (Ron) Kimberling of Elgin, IL; Greg (Laura) King, of St Louis County, MO; nieces and nephews: Ryan King, Cory King, Natasha (Dustin) Vercholuk, Keith Kimberling, Geoff (April Espejo) King and Alison King; great-niece Rafi King; aunt Judy King; and many cousins. Tim is survived by his loyal companion, fifteen-year-old fur pal Busta: "my buddy." Tim's family acknowledges, with gratitude, his many generous friends, notably Alan and Barbara Jensen, of Watauga, TX; Ron (and the late Mary) Ballog, of Keller; and their families. A graduate of Kansas State University, Tim reveled in his membership of Lambda Chi Alpha, Gamma Xi chapter, a source of lifelong friends. As student gardener for his fraternity house, he developed an abiding interest in landscaping. Tim's nearly 30-year career with Delta Airlines provided endless travel stories to share with a wide audience of friends and relations, near and far. The allure of distant locales never faded; in phone calls during his last days he spoke enthusiastically of future adventures with friends and family. At Tim's sudden passing, they long for just one more story with him. No service occurred, to date.
